Default Recovered- Custom set of Work rims**Global video on pg 6**

Guys I am so mad I could kill someone right now. Sometime late last night or early this morning someone hit a bunch of garages in New Brighton. My custom Work Rims were stolen along with some other items.

I need your help in keeping an eye out for them. They were made for my e93 and are the only known set out there so they should be easy to spot.

Please let me know if you have any information.

    Thanks.

Here are the pics. Sorry I'm using my phone so I just posted the link.

Aw man, sorry to hear this! I live in New Brighton too and all the break-ins are really getting on my nerves.

Do you have a security system at all? Any idea how they broke into your garage?

That's why we have insurance, it sucks that you now have to deal with it but at least you didn't catch them in the act and get hurt or hurt them and get charged with something. I'm not sure what you can legally do to someone entering your house or property?

Sounds like it's pretty bad in the deep se these days.

I will keep an eye open for the rims. They really looked perfect on your car.

How did they break into the garage? I only have a lame lock on my garage.

Looks pretty easy, garage scanner or old style steel hanger:

Sucks about your Rims though OP, your car's a beauty. I hope you are able to be made whole on this.

Care to pm me with what part of New Brighton? I live in the area, and I wouldn't mind keeping an eye out myself.

I'v been fairly adamant about parking in the garage as my neighbors BMW that was parked on the street was vandalized one late night/early morning last summer.

Guess its time to start hiding the garage door openers in the other cars...

As a New Brighton resident with all the recent break-ins, I ALWAYS make a point of parking my 2 cars in the garage, lock the deadbolt on the door between garage and house, leave my front door foyer (inside the house) light on all night and leave my bedroom door open so my dog can hear if someone breaks in and will start to bark.

I've heard that they are able to somehow open garage doors with some sort of radio frequency controller or something? Scary stuff.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, hopefully you find them and get the wheels back without any issues. Will keep a look out if I see something similar in the Edmonton area.

Hey guys. They went through the man door of the garage. I have security and cameras on the house but the garage isn't totally done yet so I didn't have anything setup in there yet. Hopefully these fuckers get caught and I get my stuff back

Any other cameras on the street? Time to visit the neighbours. Maybe catch a vehicle or plate number if you are lucky.

Are the rims only going to fit a BMW? Do they fit other vehicles? Makes looking for them a bit easier.

I'm ordering 2 of these today.

Doesn't help for the garage itself, but I will probably just install some motion sensing floods in front of the garage for that deterrence.

^ That video shows you just how important it is to not allow the thief a clear view into the garage. At the very least, apply a film to the glass so that you obscure the view for the thief while still allowing natural light in for yourself.

That sucks to hear for sure but this community looks big enough that im willing to bet the first day these are driven on by the new owner they will be spotted by a member.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Yeah man its scary. I heard about all the breaks ins. At first I didn't believe it, it seems so peaceful here in new brighton. Then I saw it on the news.

Sorry to hear OP. How did they get in anyway? Did you leave an opener in the car?
