EDIT: Nevermind I'm an idiot, I didn't notice the "one per customer" clause haha.
Thanks for the heads up!

fckkkk i missed it!!!
Any other case deals???
Ringke slim case came in.. everything looks good, just need the phone now!
Whoops, need to order a case on amazon. I think I am going to get the spigen thin slim fit in white. Any idea where to pick this up off contract on Friday
GOT MY S6 today! Pre-ordered from Telus and it arrived today. With the wireless charger.
So first impression of phone: MUCH better build quality than previous galaxy phones. Connectivity seems really strong too. Though compared to the iPhone 6, I think the iPhone 6 feels better in the hand. More solid device. The s6 is very light, makes it feel almost cheap a bit. But hey that's just personal opinion.
Super fast, super smooth, amazing camera. Pretty much spot on as to what the other reviews said. I haven't spent enough time with it yet but I'm just glad I got it already.
Now have to be super careful until case arrives in mail...lol
Pretty cool video:

I'm actually tempted to get an s6 now.
The quick summary is the s6 did MUCH better than the iphone in pretty much every test.
Must...string...S5...along...until...totally...dead.
So hard not to want one.
Well, if you sell your S5 for $300-350~ then you should break even on the S6 or pay $100 for the edge... you would be saving yourself money down the road by upgrading nowOriginally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

My S5 has a cracked screen and no camera lense. Also I am not due for an upgrade for another 13 months so it would cost me nearly $1k to upgrade nowOriginally posted by jdmXSI

Thats crazy! forget that I mentioned anything.
Wow, that Edge holds up shockingly well to pavement drops. The iPhone6 was completely destroyed at the same time the Edge was still almost unscathed, even with all that exposed glass on the sides. The iPhones have never been very durable though. Watching those tests pains me!Originally posted by supe

Here are the bend tests, looks to be quite resilient:

Looks like you need about 120 lbf in a small area to do damage, and sitting on it probably won't do anything at all.
I can't find anywhere that will sell this off contract.
Someone suggested that I should sign up with Wind for a month, buy the s6 for full price and then cancel...any thoughts on this approach? I'm not able to upgrade with Telus as they want me to switch plans :|
Be careful with wind. The phone may not be compatible with the same frequencies as the other carriers.
See if there's a Samsung Experience Store. There's one in West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton where I could get one off contract.Originally posted by slick2404

Pretty impressive...
Hmm..I am in that mall every other day but don't recall ever seeing one. I am sure it's there must have just missed it then. I will check it out. Still on the fence about the phone though.Originally posted by ffmf

Im really pissed at Wind right now.. the day before (or couple) the S6 delivery they change the WindTab program.. I was looking at changing my plan to the $60 one gave a $500 phone credit and been dropped to $150 overnight and then they have added a 'Boosttab' which is basically a no interest loan... pay $25 extra a month and they 'give' you a $650 credit.
Went to the Samsung store in West Ed and sure enough they sell it outright. The only thing is that they aren't unlocked and come with locked service to whichever provider you buy. Such a gorgeous phone that Edge. Resisted buying it though but don't think it's going to last as going back first thing in the morning and picking it up. lol
Hmm, feel like getting one but not like driving to Edmonton
Well if they let me buy two I can pick one up for you as well. I will be coming to Calgary later today anyway. But for some reason I doubt they'd let me buy two.
