Bought the S6 edge yesterday, 64G gold
Love the phone, I know it's a gimmick but I love it.

Battery sucks though compared to my note 4 hahaha
I like the screen at full 100 or close too. Shame to have it less then 50. Waste of a awesome screen.

Bought the samsung wireless charger, not sure if I'm going to keep it.
Slow charge, no point might as well plug in for fast charge at work.

Is anyone here going without the screen protector? Just picked upthe edge. I usually go without screen protectors, but sounds like this one's prone to smaller scratches?

I haven't used screen protectors for the last few years and have got zero scratches on my screens, even if you look at them in bright light while turned off. That being said I am super anal, so if you like to not care as much about your phone, screen protectors are a good idea. If the worst it will ever see is the inside of your pocket (sans coins/keys), then I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you want to throw it in a bag, in a pocket with change, etc. I would get a screen protector. The screen is just so gorgeous, and all screen protectors make it look worse, so I hate using them. If you do get one I would suggest a tempered glass one so at least you maintain a similar feel. I always get a slim case to protect the back (preferably with dust caps), and then full-nude up front.

I ended up going with the Note 4. Happy with my decision.

Beware of the Samsung Clear View Cover, I've read of it scratching the screen.

Anyone find the widgets a little laggy? Specifically the email. I have the email widget taking up a full page. Scrolling through the emails is noticeably choppy. Might have to put Nova on as I've heard it gets rid of it.

I'm still waiting for my 32gb Gold edge from Rogers! It's been almost a month!

^^ I canceled my Gold order after 2 weeks, it was taking FOREVER with very little daily progress. By the sounds of it, I probably still wouldn't have it.

Bell had the same issue, the owner of the bell store said he could price match it and just sold me a 64 G for basically the same price as a 32 G.
I was so happy cause I phoned everywhere for a gold 32 G

I thought about trying that but Rogers retentions gave me a pretty good deal on the 32 so maybe i'll just wait it out. Don't want white or black the gold looks better imo so hopefully it comes soon!

How are you folks finding the battery life? Looking at one of these for the wife, but she forgets to plug it in pretty frequently, so it's gotta last.

If your a heavy user, you won't make a full day. That's what I found.

I would consider myself a moderate to heavy user. By the time I go to sleep I'm usually at about 20%.

Same here, I get about 1.5 days on my personal phone (including sleeps) which sees a lot more use than my work phone (which is mostly email). I get around 4 days out of my work phone (currently sitting at 2d 3h of use with 61% battery left).

If your wife is a "normal" user, you can count on at least a day like most other phones. Standby battery life (Including fetching emails & push notifications) is simply outstanding, but with lots of screen-on time it's about the same as the competition.

    Just got my 64gb S6!

It's a bit of an upgrade over my Nexus 4...
I was a little upset I could only get 64gb, but it was only 50 more. But fido tells me I can download free music? Still need to try it out but if it's half decent that'll be awesome!

Anyone else hate the method for taking a screenshot? Swiping the whole screen. 90% of the time it doesnt register and it ends up registering as a 1 finger swipe.

You can also hold the front button and the button on the right side at the same time to do a screen shot.
