For what it's worth, I spoke with the tech guys and simply put, there was a faulty fiber jumper which degraded service significantly so that's why they're working on it at an odd hour. No excuse for the bad customer service though, so that'll be looked at.

theres no nascar, etc on it anymore (dont have the rights for it apparently anymore) so really the channel is pretty useless for that

discovery world (changing names to discovery velocity) is an alternative channel or the regular TSN, FOX, NBC (nascar) and indycar is on SPORTSNET, CITY and ABC.

its mostly back, i had 3 locations, 2 in Calgary one in lethbridge and they're back online now. was down for just over an hour.

Our office guest wireless uses shaw... And all our sales sites were down as they are also on shaw. Not the network guy today so couldn't care less.. My Telus at home is going along nicely.
