So that BMW Enthusiast FB page is basically just people curbing their old parts from what I can see? like 80% of the posts?

For the most part that is also how I see it. With that said, there are some very knowledgeable people in the group. Meets are often arranged through the Facebook group as well, but I reckon you are much to hard for them.Originally posted by killramos

Does anyone want to take me for a ride that has kwv1's? I'm trying to decide what suspension to go with and I'd like to see what it rides like.
buy adjustables, our roads are terrible so being able to adjust is very well worth the extra money. Last setup I had was the KW clubsports. Very stiff but could be made streetable by adjusting the compression and rebound. The 'recommended' setting would jar your teeth out. What car is this for? And what do you use it for?Originally posted by 03ozwhip

Reasons why Drumheller area wouldn't make a good race track venue...

It's an e90 xDrive and it's my daily driver, so I want a comfortable ride without being slammed.Originally posted by m10-power

Anyone doing a meet at all tomorrow?
For a daily driver in Calgary, KW V1s will be nice. Progressive springs will give you a nice OEM ride and the stainless steel construction will hold up to the weather here.Originally posted by 03ozwhip

I went through the same process last year and ended up with the Bilstein PSS10. You can retain stock ride height and have the adjustability to go from track to summer to winter with a twist of the damper knob. Adjusting the rear ride height with the springs installed is damn near impossible, so I went with a medium height and just left it there. It's definitely thumpier over imperfect pavement, but still very tollerable.Originally posted by 03ozwhip

Here's my thread about a broken spring that turned into a rabbit hole.

Lol people still use facebook...
based on being street car my vote would be the pss10, excellent coilover for our roads/weather.
Kw v3 as a minimum for the adjustability.

I don't find the Facebook group that bad, but there are a lot of douches in e46s that think they're the shit. Lol.
Here's the thing, I have coilovers on my TL and I set them where I wanted them and never adjusted them from there, I really don't want to have to adjust them every spring/fall.Originally posted by m10-power

Thats why I was thinking Bilstein/H&R because I heard that it's a comfy ride and a good drop. If I can get some coilovers that I can adjust at the top, then that might be a good option, do the v3's do that?
Soon it will be the e9x'sOriginally posted by JustinMCS

KW V3s are junk for the money. The average person will not be adjusting their compression and rebound regularly. If all you want is the ability to raise and lower the car while retaining OEM like ride quality, save the money and get the V1s.
I know! I love my e90 lci. 4 years of owning and I still love it.Originally posted by killramos

It's looking unlikely the M2 will come out with the S55.
Sounds like it will be a tuned up N55, though I'm still liking the car a lot.
