The X5 i bought earlier this year really is FULLY LOADED though not a single option missing including infrared night driving
Not for that kind of money. I'll take a 997/991 Turbo S
But for $400k would you take a 8,000KMs sport quattro?

Also no, but that sure is a neat car
Gorgeous for sure!
But i'm in the same boat as A790, 991 turbo s please
too many k to be a collector. wonder how much those go for.
$168K? Crack pipe.
Smoking something for that price
I think you guys are the ones smoking something. 993 Turbos have appreciated like crazy in the last few years. That price is slightly below the average price due to the higher mileage.
edit - looks like it's gotten even crazier since I last checked. They're selling for 250-350k low mileage now.

Oh, I know how hot the 993 market has gotten in the past couple of years, I still think it's crack-pipe money. It reeks of an overhyped "investor" price bubble, and we've seen that happen a couple times before. They're wonderful cars but IMO they're $100,000 cars.
Not crazy. 993's are great for collectors, but how long is that really sustainable?Originally posted by rage2

I'm with Berserker on this one.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
I still remember when Kulu was selling a 93 for I think $105k and I thought that was nuts haha

That 93 was BELOW market value as well. The 93/94 was the last year for the 964 turbo with the 3.6 turbo engine. They have skyrocketed as well.Originally posted by max_boost

All these aircooled porsches will continue to rise. I think partly because of the RWB trend and butchering these cars up.

I thought I did well last year when I made $10,000 off of my 964, that car is now worth another $15,000 on top of that. The current air-cooled trend is nucking futs.
I like cars.
168K for a VW beetle? dafuq
Just kidding, but seriously... for 168k? I don't get this "trend".
1994 Mustang - SBF swap in progress
any aircooled porsche is going way up in value
Euro

you are fucking crazy to compare a 993 to a 991 LOL.
It is sustainable because they are getting more rare. Look at any real collectors car.
Part of the crazy prices are due to overseas buyers. I know someone who vacations in Germany, last time they were there they simply mentioned in passing they owned an RS America back in Canada. No plan to sell it but within a couple days the word got out and people he didn't know where making stupid offers till eventually someone made one he couldn't refuse. So off to Germany it went.Originally posted by Team_Mclaren

I bought a Plain Jane nothing special 964 a could years ago. I love driving it, sure it's not all that fast or flashy, but it's fun. I'm having a hard time justifying keeping it, it's literally doubled in value.
