Pfft, looks more like a Grand Caravan than anythingOriginally posted by heavyD
I've seen a lot of people over the years in many car forums post "it looks like a ...." and this is one of the worst comparison's I've ever seen. You could have compared it to a Dodge Caravan and been no further away in your comparison. If you honestly believe there's any similarities between these cars other than the roof rack I would suggest you get your eyes checked.

This is priced too high
It comes almost loaded so I don't think it is too bad now after helping my mom buy a small suv with loaded little suvs being $40k+ and mid range options being this price. Still wish it had the 2.0TOriginally posted by redblack

Compared to what? Fully optioned Outbacks are over $40k.Originally posted by redblack

Exactly the opposite. Only the DSG is offered at launch for both SW and AllTrack.Originally posted by HiSpec
Safe to assume DSG is not offered?
Any chance it gets the 2.0T?
2017s are all 1.8T, not sure after that.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

It may be the same unit in the current Jetta.Originally posted by gpomp
This car will get a 1.4T long before a 2.0T
At least it looks like the 1.8 has a lot of power left. \http://www.goapr.com/products/ecu_up...gen3_mqb.html\
VW 170hp/180tq
Stage 1 91 oct 234hp/268tq
Does the 1.8T take regular gas then?
Yes it takes regular. Even the 2.0T in the GTI takes regular and drives just fine on it.Originally posted by schocker

Neat, had no idea that had changed. I would still run premium anyways I suppose on these.Originally posted by Aleks

Whoa! Is that just something you're doing, or is that what's written inside the gasdoor?Originally posted by Aleks

My 2016 GTI says 87 on the gas door. I've been running 87 since new and the car has been fine. I also do oil changes every 15000 km.
87 eh? Interesting.
How many KM are on you GTi?
