I think fed ev program should be funded by TMX profits.

    No profits, no rebates.

I don't think a lot of Albertains realize this, but the majority of BC people support the pipeline

Yea, I think I posted about this a couple years ago when the shit show started. The noise is mostly coming from Vancouver and Victoria out of touch hipsters. Everywhere else, they're all pro.

Even a lot of FN people are pro pipeline. Its the ones that are against that are getting all the coverage.

    Media-driven narrative.

Princess auto still has a ton of welding helmets decorated with flames and skulls and crossbones in stock, so construction is probably a ways away yet....

No, no, no. The multiple concurrent huge oilsands expansions like we once had will never return. Absolutely not.

Apparently the Teck Resources mine planned for 10km north of Fort Hills mine, is back on after a 2 year hiatus.

I'm still curious how this whole thing is supposed to work now? TMX is officially approved and construction started. But AFAIK the tanker ban they passed the day after approving TMX means they can't really ship anything down the pipe once it's built.

Pembina is still full steam ahead with their Prince Rupert loading terminal for shipping propane onto ships. Does this fall outside the area included in the tanker ban?

Tanker ban only affects the north edge of vancouver island and up the coast. Ships can still leave TMX and go south around victoria and out to the ocean.

And propane is not included in the ban, only oil so the Pembina one also isn't affected.
