COD: Black Ops 3

Have played a bit of the campaign. Usually went with Veteran on the other COD titles, but this new Realistic difficulty is something else. Fun at times. Absolutely infuriating at others.

Played it all weekend and prestiged yesterday lol.

This one is pretty good - especially compared to Ghost. The thrusters and wall running is minimal and you can't spam the hell out of the double jump anymore so people don't use it too often.

I actually really like the way they took this game from the previous COD's. It's not as "realistic," and I think that makes it even a bit more fun online multiplayer. Reminds me just a tad of Halo (or Destiny) with the thrust-jumping and wall running.

Funny, that's the exact reason why I didn't buy this one yet. Really hope Ghosts 2 won't go in this hyper jump/wall walking direction.

^ It's not really in the campaign in the 4 missions I've played so far.

It's not in zombies either. Pretty much just MP and it's not a requirement either. You can play on the ground if you want.

i must have played so much advance warfare that im biased. but i find its to easy to get killed in MP now. before i would take a bullet or 2 and boost dodge out of the way and kill them.
I was Grand master prestige in AW but am bottom of the score sheet almost every time now.

ya played for a bit definitely rusty haven't played since Black Ops 2 which i was decent at, didn't play AW much. Getting rocked pretty bad at MP haha

Man, I'm really struggling with this game. My K/D lately has been ~.30. I was never really any good at the COD games but in BLOP2, and even AW, my K/D was positive (>1.0) at my worst I'd be ~.70, and I'd at least get double digit kills. It seems too fast paced for me with the unlimited sprinting, I'm running around all the time and getting caught, but if I take it slow I get left behind by my teammates.

I don't even play with friends cuz I'm just an embarrassment haha. I was never really a rage quitter, always sucked it up and kept playing, but I've probably rage quit more times since the release of the game compared to all the other COD games I've played put together.

I think a big part of the problem is learning the maps. Especially when you come into a game a few weeks after release - you're behind the players that know the spawn areas, commonly traveled routes, etc...

I don't know about you guys, but in TDM or Kill Confirmed, I'd rather run the map solo. I hate when team mates stick with me and causes the weird lag/stutter... Then if we encounter the other team and get unlucky, we both die.
