Default 4 days to vacation somewhere in North America

    Hey all,

Wondering if I could grab some input. I have two bachelor parties to go to in New Orleans (First weekend of June), and then Seattle (Second weekend of June). I figure that instead of coming back to Calgary for a few days, I might just find a city that I can just lounge around in solo for a few weekdays (probably a Monday to Thursday).

I would think that it would be best to stick to the west coast, but I havn't rules out the idea of Miami, and some other places I would think of would be Mexico, Los Angeles, San Diago, Portland...

I would be staying in hostels (if that makes any difference), as I would rather be around other people to do activities with.

Any Suggestions on other cities I should look at?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Hate Vegas, that stupid sexist town.... (half kidding)

Anything else? thanks for the great suggestions so far. I'm considering that Northern California drive.

That is a great drive. Fly to L.A., and drive the PCH from there. Make sure you stop by Hurst Castle, it's a total tourist trap, but worth it, and driving through Big Sur, is sweet.

I love texas, and I've heard Austin is a blast if you like nightlife (I've not been there as an adult though)

Skip the flights and buy a beater to roadtrip home. Stay flexible.

definetly Portland, because that's the only airport yyc does NOT fly direct too of the list, the next time you do decide to go there you have to do a layover......lol

plus it is beautiful there. lol lots of coffee shops etc etc
please don't flame me, or i'll have to learn how to use the ban button
