Dark Knight, sure I'd agree with you - Dark Knight Rises? No, lol. Dark Knight Rises was pretty poor imo.

That being said he also does have Inception backing him. I'm happy with either to be honest.

I like Snyder, especially for comic book movies. Currently, I don't think there's another director out there that matches him from an aesthetic standpoint.

300 and Sucker Punch as well, I've only seen them once, and they're not my favourite films by any means but they looked great too.
Just looked at his filmography, man that's a bunch of comic book movies.

Didn't realize he did Dawn of the Dead, I still think it's the best zombie movie.

I really doubt they can pull it off. Batman works in the dark, Superman works under light. Neither seems fitting in each others environment (in movie universe) and different fictional cities to boot.

Batman fighting Superman is never meant to be a slugfest. Batman plans everything ahead of time, and fights on his grounds. He has a plan to kill every single member of the Justice League should they become mind controlled or ever turn.
