Well, I hope they open it up with more weapons and classes in the real game. It's awesome because of Star Wars and battle of Hoth. As a battelfield type game, it's pretty flat.

Pretty sweet game I havnt played a shooter in a couple years and I'm actually pretty good at it. I'm horrible at flying the ships though. I havnt had a chance to be a jedi yet looks like fun.

Is there a single player story to this game? It's hitting that nostalgia button pretty good but I don't really care for multiplayer gaming...

I don't know if there is a campaign but there is a single player part in the beta. It's survival waves. There may be additions to the full game

No campaign. Game is pretty barebones compared to BF. I am starting to like it more in 3rd person view though. Apparently the spawns in AT-AT are atrocious and rebels don't have a chance at winning. I haven't played that game mode too much though.

Played for a good while last night. Initially it felt flat and bland, but as I played more it got somewhat better. Understandably we're only in beta, however, I still doubt this game will feel full enough even at release. Seems like this could have been so much better.

This game could've been so much better. I'm not sure if I'll keep my pre-order. Very sad there's no story campaign. with the way the game looks, a story campaign would've been awesome.

The AT-AT battle is really unfair if you're playing rebel. You spawn in the middle of the battlefield most of the time, and the AT-AT can shoot you from across the map in one shot.

Hopefully the other game modes will be better... I'll wait for reviews before opening the game

Hoth is tilted to Imperial. But that makes rebel wins even more precious.

In my experience, Rebel wins 1/4 batlles. It all about keeping those Y wings coming. If you can get about 6-7 for each phase and people are smart enough to mount those sat dish turrents and rail at the AT-ATs while shield is down, you can take down 50% of each per phase.

Or someone get lucky with snow speeders and tow hook in phase 3. Seen 2 full health At-Ats went down that way in one game.

Played a a couple hours of this tonight before the server crashed (I think) but it's pretty sweet! Reminds me of Titanfall style of gameplay but Star Wars version.

Picked it up last night. The game is bare bones for offline play. No tie fighter, millennium falcon, AT-AT.

Battlefront is a super fun addicting game but it looks like you need to buy the season pass in the near future to need the entertainment going. An extra 69.99$ is a lot invested into a game.

Yea, but EA tends to toss the season pass on sale, esp if they aren't getting good takeup. Gonna wait on the pass.

Overall i really enjoy the game. Refreshingly less complex than so many other shooters of late. Easy to play. Lots of fun. Gonna get some couch coop time with a buddy while we let my Anova work this weekend so I'm looking forward to that.

I am a big star wars nut so that's enough the keep the game relevant for me for the long term.

I have spent 80 bucks on worse things.
