Agreed. I guess everyone that voted NDP got what they wanted.

I think the NDP always does that? It was the same in Calgary-Glenmore. I'm not sure if they want to people to remember the leaders name, or if they're trying to hide the fact that half of their candidates were unemployed students/coffee shop baristas etc.

The NDP won because people wants change. A lot of people voted without doing any research.

Outgoing MLAs will be paid $13.4M to leave office.

Fuck me, Sheldon from the big bang theory won in my riding

    http://calgaryherald.com/news/politi...n-calgary-shaw

Don't you love how all the profiles are taken off NDP's website along with the platform? It's all about "Transparency" folks

    http://www.albertandp.ca/platform
"The page you were looking for was not found."

www.albertandp.ca/grahamsucha just sends me to their main website so I can't even read about the guy running my area.

    Silly NDP... internet is forever

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=ca

(Somebody should hold onto that Platform portion so we can hold them to it lol)

There were Notley signs and candidate signs in Calgary-Glenmore. The NDP candidate for the riding has a masters degree in chemical and environmental engineering.

If you're going to complain about something, make sure it's actually accurate.

I didn't see a single sign for Anam Kazim. I've only seen Notley signs. The Notley signs must have been the majority. The WR, PC and Liberals I've ONLY seen candidate signs.

Yeah, Prentice is no better than the Captain of the Costa Concordia. I can't be premier, "abandon ship!"

He totally erased all of the good things he done in politics with the way he left. too bad.

Oh nos, people expect a certain level of experience and maturity in their politicians, not ones that finger the flag thinking it's funny.

We collectively bitch and moan at your young people, calling them entitled, spoiled and a waste, unable to make smart decisions. Then when they do step up, (especially when we, the older ones don't), some of us start deriding them for their youth an inexperience. It's a pretty vicious situation to be honest. I personally think that Rachel Notley had a fantastic idea in bringing on some really young MLA's. She's engaging them. Showing them that THEY, our children, are being represented. Actively pulling them into politics where they can have a say in their own future. And what are we doing? Mocking them, bullying them. We should be ashamed.
    It's not about her age.

People are reacting emotionally because she posed beside a stoner t-shirt and gave the Canadian flag the finger.

Personally, I couldn't care less. Just because she's a nimrod on social media doesn't mean she's a nimrod of a person. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

That is literally what I said on Facebook today. Then I saw her resume and I'm less open to "diamond in the rough" I had hoped for

Or all the other stupid shit that the previous gov't did. No, we're focusing on a couple of stupid pictures taken by some kid in 2011 before she ever became interested in politics. Yes, she should have cleaned this crap up. Agreed. But it's pretty fucking petty to bully this person because of it.
Assume much? The reason why she was elected in the first place is because of people's anger towards the PCs and their antics.
