Uh huh. I'm not sure how much I will want to watch without Han and PW but I love the mindless entertainment anyways. But damn, they're really milking this for the $$$ now
Even though the last one was full of cheeeeeezy shit, it was still better than the last few before.
Either way they'd really have to piss me off for me to stop seeing them. Milk the cow all you want!
1994 Mustang - SBF swap in progress
I believe eight is the last one vin diesel talked about
So let me get this straight... it took you seven sequels to come to that conclusion?Originally posted by xnvy

It's the only thing Vin that's any decent and will get him $$.Originally posted by GQBalla

It's this or Chronicles of Riddick part ____.
FF9 will be about self driving cars.
Not really. I just feel like the other movies actually had reasons to exist and with 8 it's kind of different because unlike the movies preceding it, Furious 7 has no obvious sequel. Like the 4th had them freeing Dom, the 5th had Letty's survival being revealed, and the 6th had Statham's character introduced while the 7th just has it's happy ending.Originally posted by D'z Nutz

Did you leave early or what?
Spoiler:
Had The Rock locking up Statham. Statham's brother will come for him, free him and more paths of destruction with Vin's team the only guys who the CIA can call to stop the madness.
It will be an all action movie with no real connection to cars. But there hasn't been a relation to the car subculture since Fast 5 and arguably even before that.

True, there might not be a "lingering" issue left open from the preceding installment this time around, but the series as a whole still has enemies alive to consider. Owen Shaw could come out of his coma. Carter Verone did say "see you soon" near the end of 2 Fast... Some of those still butthurt may want to take a crack at closure, you know?Originally posted by xnvy

There was an interview with Vin where he stated that they saw these as trilogies. And that 7 was the start of the next trilogy.
1-2-3
4-5-6
7-8-9
Sounds like there will be 2 more at least.
Kurt Russell is t the bridge to the next movies.

If you want to talk about trilogies then i think they are 1-2-4, 5-6-7
Tokyo drift never fit in regardless of it perhaps being the most important one to the long term success of the franchise.

It will be weird with no Brian in it - but I will still go see it
It will be even more weird with Brian in it.Originally posted by eglove

7 is $1B and China is thirsty for more. There will definitely 8 and 9 at a minimum.
Heck they even green lit Need for Speed 2 for Chinese version of Netflix.
