    Default 5x108 Questions....

I'm trying to get ideas for wheels, so I'm turning to you, Beyond!

My car utilitizes a 5x108 bolt pattern, and I'd like to get ideas for some summer wheels. Im on a budget, so those fancy ferrari wheels are a no-go at present.

What I'd like is this, wheels that came from an OE, preferably something fairly common so if a rim get bent, its not going to break the bank to replace it. Im hoping for 18's or 19's, but 17's will do if they suit my style.

To give you an idea what I mean, i recently just swapped to a set of 16" factory windstar alloy's which will be moved to winter wheels when I grab some summer ones. If it helps, the wheels on it now are a 16x6.5 ET43 5x108

So beyond, Show me what you've got.

Volvo. That's about your only choice or oem ST takeoffs. Also. You should have just posted in the Ford forum.

Focus fanatics and focusst.org would be a better place to get ideas. TSW's are cheap. Fast wheels. Get in on an enkei group buy.

Yea, but I cant find any good reference on what comes standard on volvo's, short of prowling ebay/wikipedia (which is still a toss-up on whether they actually are factory originals or aftermarket ones in their images.

I've also looked into jaguar wheels as well, but cant find a reliable source for what is factory, and what is aftermarket...

I agree that FocusFanatics/FocusST would also be a good choice, and I may just end up posting something there as well...

Was simply hoping to get some ideas of whats available, and what can be found locally...

I should note, i do like the '12 Rdesign 18's...

There's nothing on Kijiji. And it's not a popular bolt pattern. And there are not very many people in the 5x108 wheel game here. There's not going to be much for take offs either as the people that own the type of cars with or bolt pattern probably don't switch up the wheels.

The only popular wheels from Volvo are the Pegasus R wheels. Rdesigns are replica. So not sure why you're okay with those when you're wanting some OE's

Jaguar won't be much out there

You'll want to stay within 8-9" +45 to +35 for offset as far as fitment. 8" you can probably go down to +30

Get something like these, and then you're choices are wide open.

I know the seller and can vouch for him (muttsnutts on the FF forum).
    Can't beat the price!

Judging from those pictures, is he selling the rims or the whole car?

You can hardly even see them, lol.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Not really as we are running a high offset from stock ( +55) and most of the desirable wheels are +30-35 which will make him poke quite a bit. An effective offset of +10-15 won't work with the adapters

Yea, i know there isn't much on kijiji... Guess I was hoping for a bit of local help...

I know the adapters will fit, someone on FF is using a set to mount some factory mazda wheels up for autoX duty...

The R-Designs are replica's? of which wheels? They do look a fair bit like the Bremmerkraft BR11's on tirerack, but with a flat face instead of a scuplted face...

Right now, im just trying to get an idea for whats available as OE takeoffs, so while i believe muttsnutts to be a good guy, im going to have to let his offer wait. If they are still up when I get to the time of purchase, ill definitely send him a message.

I do agree that +35-30 is just perfect for flush, and my final set of summers (the final stage) will be this on either an 18 or 19 inch rim, custom drilled to a 5x108 pattern.

If you're on a budget and don't want to spend too much just use tire rack then.

They got some nice wheels at affordable prices. Those Sparco wheels (multi spoke can't remember name) are nice and look good on the focuses with a good offset

I think that $325 is a pretty good price for those FoTi rims.
    A better pic...

Man, I do love those black ST rims... but honestly, im just looking for ideas, so when I get working again, I can get the budget in order.

I already have a really good idea of what course I want to take, should I decide to go aftermarket, I was just looking for ideas of whats available as an OE takeoff...

Elbrus I05 used to come in 5x108, you may have some luck finding some cheap ones anywhere that has them in stock still:
