Do you know what was in them?

We use them to ship tools between the states and here. Generally sealed metals. The odd crate has a few grease /oil spots from rubbing but they are few and far between. 95% of the crates are wood with nothing in them. We've got plans to convert some in a project to make them meat smokers (that's how clean they are)
