We are in debt already. We are heading into a recession already. I'm not worried. PC's couldn't put money away for a rainy day at $110 oil, chose to budget for an anomaly price of $100, then insulted as by suggesting "look in the mirror", and at the same time claimed to be on track to double the Heritage fund in 10 years.Originally posted by FraserB
The NDP won't be able to deliver on their promises without going into debt. You can't add 2,000 long term beds without spending a ton of money. Raising the minimum wage to $15/hr is pointless as less than 2% of people in Alberta actually make the minimum, but it drives up costs to small businesses. So you either raise your prices or you lay people off and make the ones left work harder.
Reassessing royalty rates is fine, just implement them when the price has recovered. Then you have the same tired old rhetoric of taking from the people who have more and redistributing it to those who don't.
Bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Fuck. Funny shit right there, and you want me to be scared of a family first party?
lol.
Good one.
