    100% of $1 = $1

    $1 + 100% = $2
    $1 + 200% = $3
    ...
    $1 + 600% = $7

    Either their English or their Math is wrong. If the math is correct then they need to stop calling it a 600% increase and start calling it 600% of the existing cost.
