    Thumbs down I'm a Ricer!

At least thats what I thought of myself last night at SS. Here are the numbers from my first run:

    R/T: .834
    60: 2.821 !!!
    330: 7.165
    1/8: 10.745
    MPH: 68.36
    1000: 13.865
    1/4: 16.5
    MPH: 84.88

Hahaha, I ran a mid 16 second pass! Shit! Well as you can see by my 60 foot time traction was a BIG problem on that run. I launched the truck right off idle and pinned it, the back end was sliding out on me almost all the way up to the 60 foot marker. Keep in mind tho, this is how I was launching the truck last time I was there, i still had problems then, but they wern't this bad. Anyways, after that I modified my launching and then ran a 16.1, 15.8, and then my fastest run of the night:

    R/T: .474
    60: 2.331
    330: 6.529
    1/8: 10.064
    MPH: 69.03
    1000: 13.156
    1/4: 15.781
    MPH: 85.49

Still not great, I should have been able to cut a 2.2 60 footer but last night the track conditions were brutal. The right lane seemed to be the best lane tho. Also I was churping through second gear, which NEVER happens. I was launching by holding the truck at 1000rpms then rolling it out about 5-10 feet then flooring it. I still experienced slight wheelspin but a 2.3 60 footer isn't all that bad. Last time i put the truck down the track my fastest time was a 15.6, it was between 10-15 degrees that night, not sure about the pressure tho. Last night the temps were between 3-4 degrees. Anyone know what the pressure was last night?

I couldn't get the car off the line either - way too much vibration and wheel hop. Guess my car is set up more of the track :p

    R/T good 60' time!

I bumped into ninspeed and I think a couple other beyond folks were still at the track but ut was too cold to get out and chat.

LOL, Good run R/T. I always slow down and hide when I see an R/T on the road.

Not to sure, I think for club cabs it was anywhere from 15.4-15.6 at sea level stock. My fastest run from last year, 15.6, corrected to 14.9 at sea level which is about right for the mods that it has.

Nice runs 5.9 R/T The track was so shitty they even closed it @11:30. But I managed to get my best time for the year, even though I kept spinning all the way through 1st:
    R/T : .510
    60' : 2.421
    330 : 6.5
    1/8 : 9.87
    MPH : 74.51
    1000 : 12.802
    1/4 : 15.273
    MPH : 90.57
Hopefully it won't be TOO cold this Friday....
