    Default Dvd headrest

    Hey guys,

I want to buy a set of dvd headrests for my suv, but i'm not very smart when it comes to installation. Any of you guys have that in your car? Is it worth getting it?

How much would you pay for installation? Is there anyone on beyond that does that sort of things?

    Cheers

I strongly reccomend that you skip the DVD headrests and just buy tablets for each of your kids. Will be cheaper, and better.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I have the tablets, but when we go one long road trips, i want them to play xbox or PS3 in the car. And pop in a movie if they get tired of playing.

Installation is pretty simple. First need to remove headrest and back seat trim panel (if its removeable if not you would have to possibly take off whole seat cover) run the wires which will just be power and ground down the seat (it will cover up when you put the seat cover ) towards where ever your getting your power and ground from. If you have acc socket in the center console(that would be the closest instead of running it all the way to the front) just solder into that and make sure you have a fuse for dvd headrest. Do they same for the passenger side and put the dvd module underneath the passenger side as they're won't be as much wiring there.

Check out the Advent Entertainment replacement headrests.
You can get then with dual 8"DVD capable wifi enabled touch screen android tablets that can slave their screen to each other so the kids can share or watch their own stuff.
It has the video in so you can run something to it and also HDMI as well for other products.
    It's pretty sweet.
