Carpet for truck bed camping

Looking for spare/to be trashed carpet for a bit of a project I'm doing (camping bed in back of tacoma).
Any ideas where I can find spare or less useful carpet for cheap? Only need ~60 x70 inches.

I'd recommend calling/going to a carpet shop and asking what cut offs they have. They'll have plenty to scrap thatll probably fit your needs and they'll be happy to make something off it

I got some marine carpet from end of the roll a few years ago. It resists moisture etc. Was really good for the camper setup I had in my Taco. And it was almost a perfect match to the carpeted roof in my LEER topper.
If your roof isn't carpeted, consider getting some contact cement and carpeting it yourself with this marine carpet too. It actually holds in a lot of warmth and keeps out a lot of noise!

I used a 5foot by 6foot chunk, I don't think it was more than $50. Pretty cheap anyway.

I bought the rubber bed mat to smooth out the ridges and I got a tent that is made to fit in the back of the Tacoma. Next step is either an air bed that fits the box or, get a high density foam pad cut to fit and wrapped in marine fabric from an upholstery shop.....

That sounds like something you'll want to throw out after one camping trip.

I had a tent + double air mattress that fit in my old truck years back. It worked in a pinch (kept both packed under backseat)
