For you hip hop heads out there, you might want to check this out. I can't wait. Nas, MGK, Raekwon, j. Cole, Wales among the list.

An true hip-hop festival in Calgary, that's awesome. Sucks that it's the same day as X-Fest though. I'll probably go to One Love instead.
Travis Scott in calgary this is going to be hype

I think last time there was something like this was Rock the Bells and that was a while ago.
Can't miss such a great line up!

I was anticipating this one but the lineup is kinda meh. Nas and Raekwon would've made a great lineup 5, 10, or 15 years ago. Neither has made a significant album for a while now.
I like J Cole but not a huge fan. Travis Scott might be the most interesting headliner.
Wtf? Nas, then or now has and always will be one of the most hype, influential and best storytellers in the hip hop game, his shit will never get old or insignificant.Originally posted by Manhattan

Life is good was pretty good in my opinion and the opinion of many critics too.
Illmatic is timeless and he has many hits in between.Accolades
Life Is Good appeared on several critics' year-end top albums lists. It was named the best album of 2012 by The Source and Okayplayer.[60] The album was also ranked number 18 by Rolling Stone,[61] number 12 by Complex,[62] number 16 by James Montgomery of MTV,[63] number six by Martin Caballero of The Boston Globe, and number seven by Jon Caramanica of The New York Times.[60] Life Is Good received a Grammy Award nomination in the category of Best Rap Album for the 2013 Grammy Awards.[64] It was also nominated for Album of the Year at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards, while "Daughters" won the Impact Track award at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.[65]
What I found kind of strange is that they are marketing J Cole ahead of Nas.

J Cole is subjectively a bigger name, here and now. Not historically speaking but to a lot of the younger crowd he definitely is.Originally posted by hurrdurr

All the brown girls I know gush over 2014 Forest Hills Drive and tell me J. Cole is GOAT.
I bet most couldn't name 5 Nas songs. He is most certainly influential but he's not exactly the face of hip-hop anymore.
To people that know hip hop and not just "that one song" we will show up to see Nas and Raekwon, to me, the rest is filler.
Unfortunately, unlike probably most of the people that will show up, are showing up for a party only type thing, the music to them, is filler, I'll be there for the music, with a little bit of partying lol
I'll probably be one of those that show up for the party.
Well, depending on who I go with I guess but chance are haha.
Anyone end up getting the early bird? I went on at 10:02 and they were sold out! Ended up getting tier 1, still not a bad price to see all these artists.

I got an early bird.
What's Tier 1 and 2? I contemplated about getting the VIP solely for access to private bathroom. :P

I got the early bird as well, pumped to see Cole and Nas but also Wale, I find he's very underrated.
