hey, this is my first thread, anyways i was wondering if anyone knows how much a redlight camera ticket is, cuz i think i got one yesterday, and my freind said its like 500 bucks, but i dont beleive him

youll only get one if it was a blatant violation

as in, you entered the intersection after the light was red for at least a second

if you were trying to run a yellow and barely missed, youll be ok

you may not have gotten one.
Not all cameras in the city are in operation, only some of them and they rotate around the city. So even if they flash, it doesn't mean you'll get a ticket in the mail for sure.

i was just trying to get through on a yellow and it turned red wile i was in the intersection

They took my picture once for making a right turn. In the second picture I am sure they saw me giving them the finger...

I saw some idiot yesterday running a red on 68 16ave NE, and if anyone knows this stop there is a redlight camera that faces southbound, some kid in a suv just runs it while people on 16thave going eastbound to chestemere are going 90+kmh

Question:

There is a red light camera at the intersection of 52nd ST and Memorial Drive...the cam is on the northband lane facing Memorial Drive

I was on the 52nd st turning left to get onto Memorial Drive, and it was a green light and I pulled up waitin to turn, and a couple cars blew past the yellows so I waited for them to pass and finally when I could turn, it was a red light....so I just went since I was already in the middle of the road....

Does the camera bust ppl turning on a red even tho its not even on the same lane?

If you're already in the intersection before the light turns red, the camera wouldn't be set off. Only if you're approaching the stop line at a significant speed when the light turns red.

I was already in the intersection trying to turn when it was green, but I hope I dont get it cuz the red light camera is on the Memorial Drive for ppl going Northbound,

And I was on 52nd turning left onto Memorial soooo

You have to blatantly run the red to get a ticket. There's even a grace period of 0.5 seconds or 1.0 seconds. So it has to turn red and then one second later you have to run the light...
