Would have been here sooner, but had to go change my pants.
Can't wait.
You just made my day

Do the graphics look a bit shitty to you? I wasn't impressed.
I don't play Fallout for the graphics. If lesser quality means bigger sandbox, I'll be ecstatic.
My only dilemma is, "is it time to buy a next gen console, or should I just buy on PC?"

PC master race.
Honestly, I'd rather a trailer like this showing in game graphics compared to a prerendered cut scene that you'll never know what gameplay looks like till months down the road.,
Yeah, but the upgrades I'm going to need will probably cost more, and also there's no room for a baby playpen in our computer room so I can keep on eye on herOriginally posted by HomespunLobster

I bet you $50 that a sub-$1,000 PC will play F4 just fine.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

And given the ease of updates, mods, etc. for PC... why would a console even be an option?
With big picture mode you could play your PC in your living room with a controller and still watch the baby.
Just saying...
I have my computer hooked up to my TV and use an xbox one controller. Been playing witcher non stop like this. You wouldn't regret it.Originally posted by A790

I dont really remember FO3 or NV causing any hardware strain. Bethesda usually wants solid gameplay, scripting and atmosphere before bending to the hardware suppliers demands for luscious hair.
Its nice to see some colour this go, really looking forward to it!
I can't wait to have a dog in game, this is important, he will help with in game decisions haha.
Loved Fallout 3. Played it at lunch at work for about a year before I found pretty much everything there was to find. Couldn't get into New Vegas at all. Just didn't have the same "feel" to me and never finished it. Looks like they may be heading back to more of a FO3 type of story for FO4. Sure hope so, I'm sure looking forward to a good FPS.

Does anyone else get the impression that the graphics aren't really a huge step up from NV or 3?
That's not a problem for me but it looks more like they are just running a few more graphics options switches on rather than a new engine or something.
Maybe its just been a while, i have been spoiled by modern gen games.

I don't understand what people's hard-on is for graphics. Bethesda has never been known to push the cutting edge limits... I'd trade a bit of graphical fidelity for a better 'game' any day. Skyrim came out in what, 2011? I bet this game has been in development since then, as that trailer showed quite a bit of progress to me. If they started working on the game with today's knowledge of the new console gen engines etc, it'd probably look a bit better.
Love the fallout series. Can't wait for this!
There goes my life I rebuilt since FO3
I actually felt the same. I barely got into New Vegas before stopping, but I think it's because I played FO3 way too much. I explored the entire world.Originally posted by HHURICANE1

The atmosphere is different, especially for the first quarter or so.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

That said, I feel it's a stronger "shooter" in the sense that the weapon variety and customization is really excellent. Super fun to use different round types on different guns, add/remove various attachments, etc.
I'd encourage you to revisit NV and give it a solid go. I bet after 15-20 hours you'll be as invested as you were in F3
It's a brand new engine. I think I need to see more before I really assess the graphics. They seemed to be on par with Bioshock Infinite, and that's okay by me TBH.Originally posted by killramos

Oh lordy that bethesda conference.
Can't wait to play it with all that customization
Nov 10, 2015!
Oh man people are gonna loose their lives on this game... Looks so good. Im wondering which way to go, PC or PS4. I kind of like the console option because I can play on 65in TVs and on the couch.... Find it much more relaxing.
