Default Review: Calgary Junk Removal (Beyonder: heavyfuel)

Before I forget, special shout out to spikerS, great Beyond handyman and friend for contributing some hours helping out with this issue.

Business wise, so in a crazy twist of event, I ended up purposely seeking for business/customer help from Beyond's one and only landlord hater: heavyfuel (congrats on buying his own property this year). So glad in the past I've kept my mouth shut whenever heavyfuel/Vince expressed his hatre for landlords. (but really, family property)

heavyfuel/Vince owns Calgary Junk Removal, which have been also endorsed, used by Rage2 in the past.
    http://www.calgaryjunkremoval.com/

Great communication, gave Vince (heavyfuel) a month heads up that I'll be coming into possession of a long term rental unit. 10 year continuous tenant, had a feeling on the way they lived, knew I needed some junk removal.

Vince does full service pickup instead of drop off "bins". And I decided for my project, I didn't want to do drop off bins based on an older neighbourhood, didn't want neighbours filling my bins with their shit, and knowing these tenants behavior, they won't even use it anyways... Vince was great at even recommending his buddy's drop-off bin company if I choose that route (even though he won't make money from that route)

But I went with Vince. Which I'm glad I did.

Day 1. June 1... Vince and his other crew member came exactly as he's texted. (I know this industry they always got to run around, dump full loads, half loads to next place, etc...) But Vince is actually a great texter and really accurate ETA estimated times.

Pretty much took Vince and his 1 guy; 3 days. Plus me useless titting it for half a day the last day handing coffee and paycheque. lol

    Highlights:
    - Junk removal (full service junk removal) industry, tons of respect for these guys
    - Calgary Junk Removal, heavyfuel, Vince: The Man
    - Unplugged fridge/freezer of spoiled food, Vince and his guy fuckin' plowed threw it, didn't leave me hanging, even though they keep telling me "it's part of the job/their job". Nobody deserves to babysit dumping other's SHIT. (nicely bagged, tidied, cut up garbage is different)
    - Calgary Junk Removal, these guys don't stop till the job is done.

Let these marinade for a few days.

Phone sanitized, was wearing those blue surgical gloves picking up shit and answering/texting.

These tenants might had left me with a heavybill with their shit, but if it's something money can solve, call Calgary Junk Removal and let heavyfuel take care of it all. Let him release his Beyond forum rage against your unwanted junk.

lol that's only like the 1000th or so irresponsible tenant cleanup I've done over the years. And believe it or not only about a 6/10 on the "how bad it was" scale.

Wow, that is quite the mess left behind!

If this is a 6/10, I think that we need a "how bad it was" thread with pics, sort of like the old towing thread!

I've used Vince/CJR a bunch of times (both personally and when I was running NF) and I'll continue to use and recommend them. Vince is good shit. No nonsense, no drama, no bs... does his job and takes care of his customers. More businesses need to operate like that.

I used Vince a while ago for the same scenario. Shitty tenants left a pile of crap inside and out that needed to be removed. I Communicated with Vince email and text. They removed everything that needed to be and left without a trace. I didn't get a chance to meet him and paypaled him the money when he was done. Highly recommended for any junk removal needs.

Used Vince's services today. Contacted him through the website last night and he was here first thing in the morning. Good service and pricing. Will use again in the future.

Great service, got to know a Beyonder is around if/when the need arises.

On a side note, fucking hate renters like this and main reason why people get over-cautious of becoming landlords.
