I honestly can't tell if Rob is agreeing or disagreeing with me.

oh well. I suspect at least some folks don't agree with my suggestions. I guess I'll go and cry myself to sleep now.

Black Gts, it just doesn't appear that jonnycat or rob the knob are going to get it - some people are unable to consume and then effectively process great information as is being provided in this relatively short thread.

Apparently neither of these gentlemen have ever been on the TransCanada Highway between Golden and Sicamous going in either direction during the busy summer holiday driving season or they have and have cursed at probably 15-20% of the traffic out there in that highway. Fucking semi - can't do more than 50kph going up eastward into Roger's Pass, fucking SUV towing a trailer can't do more than 60kph, god damn truck/whatever towing a fifth wheel - can't get over 65kph up that hill. Really, why don't they just stay home or get off of the highway.

it is good way to get you and your family killed by either mechanical crash or someone hitting you because you are doing about half of speed limit.

left lane block happen all the time. does not make it right.

how about you stay home instead of drive unsafe past your vehicle limits!

i am surprise people here recommend unsafe driving like this.
You should say off the internet instead of making posts like this...

    Unfucking beleivable...

I won't understand all the wonderful info in this short thread?

I gave him advice on one hill in particular that he would encounter on his trip. You guys added in all your magical semis dotting the hill and waved your magic wands that brought the traffic to a crawl in MY scenario for OP.

Not once did I say speed all the fucking time and ride people asses and be dangerous. I honestly can't even begin to understand how "trying to keep it up to 90kms an hour up a hill" was interpreted as drive like idiot all the time. Who would advocate that and how is that the conclusion you jump to?

Yes I have towed my trailer through your super insane summer traffic through golden, through the Banff jasper park, down into multiple states etc. and I generally only tow in the summer months. Call me a pussy, but towing my trailer in the dead of winter through the mountains seems silly.

If you want to tow at half the speed limit, without traffic, on purpose, I get it, you are the safest man on earth and we should learn from you.
