How do you guys think Johansen will do on Nashville? Looks like he's centering the second line, and will be on the second PP unit. I dropped him earlier but am thinking of picking him up again, but it doesn't look like he got a spot on the top line.

Got Johannsen and I hope he picks up quickly in Nashville.

Typically, guys like him have an inital burst of points. Then slow after a few games and usually falter while they work to learn the systems for a few weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised if he finds himself on the first line in the near future. They probably want to give an adjustment time to new coaching/teammates before sending him out of 22-23 minutes of top line time out the gate. Not to mention they heavily criticized his conditioning which would need to be addressed to play those minutes first.

Glad to see a big trade move happen finally. This age of the NHL everyone is so scared to make trades or expect absurd amounts for players. (Example what Yzerman is expecting in return for Drouin or how much NYI wants for Hamonic)

I'd pick him up now for the aforementioned burst of points in a new environment. He might slow down after a couple of weeks, and then you can think about dropping him then.

You guys were right. I grabbed Johansen and he's been doing pretty darn good. 2 pts the first game with Nashville and then 3 pts in their comeback vs Chicago on the 12th. He's also now centering the first line and is on the first PP unit. Hopefully he stays hot.

Markov has been breaking my balls (though they finally put him back with Subban), so I will be keeping an eye on Jones for sure.

I don't think NHL16 even lets you score from center anymore, haha. That was definitely an unusual game.

I was at the game, it was surprising to see Little get a breakaway when we were down two players and then Buff goes in on a breakaway shortly after and scores while still down 2 players.

I don't know what in the holy sweet fuck took them so long to put Wheeler, Scheifele and Ehlers on the same line... I've been waiting the entire season.
