    Default Turning brown eyes blue.

According to doctors, everyone has technically has blue eyes - but brown eyed people have a protective pigment on top that can be burned off.

If it takes off, blue eyes could be more prelavalent than brown (there is no surgery available to add pigment, only take it away) and/or the ozone layer lets in UV rays that destroy the pigment naturally.

So the saying, "You're so full of shit your eyes are brown" may have some merit?

Blue eyes are from the lack of melanin and collagen deposits in the eyes. You have to remove both of those things to make a blue eye. And even then the eye really isn't blue

blue eyes don’t actually have a set colour - it all depends on the amount of light available when you look at them

I must be special because I have blue eyes and the sun doesn't bother me.. I've been asked many times how I can be in the sun and not wear sunglasses.

I believe that blue eyes originated with the Nordic people. And you're right on the money. My eyes are extremely light sensitive. I also tend to sneeze randomly when it's bright out. I believe this condition only affects green/blue eyed people.

I have brown eyes but I can go without sunglasses because my chinky eyes are barely ever open

I don't know about only green/blue eyed people, but it definitely happens to me. I have really blue eyes.
If fact, if I feel like I almost need to sneeze I just look at a light and it triggers it right away. I thought it happened to everyone though..

"Light causing sneezing" can occur with any eye color. It happens to my gf occasionally, and her eyes are green...ah shit, they might be hazel. Well anyway, I know for sure they're not blue or brown

Brown eyes here. My wife makes fun of me because I look at lights/sun to sneeze. So I did some research to show her up.

The action of looking "up" starts to trigger the sneeze by opening the nasal passages for a more direct path. This will either start the ticking sensation prior to a sneeze, or if it's ready in action complete the sequence. I've gotten to the point where I can sneeze in a completely dark room looking up now. But still,
Nothing gets me like a nice sunny day lol.

Used to have hayfever but outgrew it.

That isn't because you have blue eyes, it's because your eyes suck. Way to go, cripple eyes.

I looked into it after my last post, and found a Scientific American article as well. Except this one, explains a probable (yet unproven) theory as to the cause.
