OK, this has got me fucking boggled. I know the price per L of gas changes across the country, and even across a city as big as Calgary, but recently, there are some HUGE swings in prices!
For example, in and around my house in Coventry, Gas prices are 100.4/L right now. Costco in Beacon Hill was 99.4/L. That was strange, usually Costco is about $0.06/L cheaper than most...I stopped there as we headed out to Banff.
When we get out to Dead man's flats, I notice the station there is 117.4/L I know they usually are charging a premium there, but 17 cents a liter? holy fawk! But guess what? Canmore and Banff were at the same prices...
I am driving around the city, and I am seeing gas prices all around the 107-110/L mark depending on the station...
So what the fuck gives? Why is there such a price disparity in a relatively small geographical area? It can't fucking cost 17 cents a liter more to ship to Canmore...
WTF?
