Have some miles to do soon looks like haha.

Any nice campgrounds in the last area you posted??

Friends and I are going camping in a month wouldn't mind knowing a nice spot.
Ellison PP is a nice campground that is right on Okanagan lake. (5 minute walk down to the beach). I don't know how packed it gets. There are both reservable sites as well as FCFS. Reservations through BC's Discover Camping website.

Or that Chinook lake I posted up is nice and close and a beautiful campground. Gets busy on the weekends though. And only 2 hours away. When we go there we head down on a Sunday...best day to get the good spots.

Discovered White Swan Lake a few weeks ago- just up the road from the Lucier natural hot springs past Fairmont, not cold, no swimmers itch or seaweed. Awesome. We swam right from the "Home Basin" campground in the park but there are lots of swimming holes and even some cliff jumping

Speaking of Lussier hot springs, someone recently told me it's been "shut down." Not exactly sure what they meant. Did you notice anything? Are the hot springs still accessible, were there people there?

    Thanks.

Lots of greasy hippies and broken glass all the times I've been there with the except of a few naked chicks making out at 2:00am. I was with my wife...

Johnson Lake you newbs. It's just north of Banff.

And don't come to Windermere, already 25% of Calgary is here anyway.
