I tried it out a bit, works pretty good but don't know if it is because I am sitting so close, looks like some decent compression. Nice to be able to power it on/off though from the PC. Worked great with my 360 controller.

Well, Seth is technically right but it adds nothing to the conversation. If you want streaming, client side must be Windows 10 until someone figure out a hack or something to bring it to older Windows.

Xbox One won't get Windows 10 code/UI until November.

No and I had a strange ass resolution at first as well however after it was all said and done I left it for a couple hours, restarted and everything is fine. FPS on my games don't seem impacted without it so don't really care.

mine was worse, couldnt get the system to run at native resolution, had to do a full uninstall using the uninstaller from guru3d then reinstall the nvidia drivers. happened on two different computers doing both upgrade and clean installs.

my nvidia geforce card is only displaying 1080i instead of 1080p... can't figure out how to change it back. resintalled the drivers from nvidia, but still no go.

other than that, it was a smooth upgrade, and i'm liking it way better than windows 8.1

I've been using XBMC (Kodi) on my HTPC which worked perfectly on Windows 7. But once I upgraded to Windows 10 it continuously stops responding. Audio will work for a couple minutes with no video output, then it will just crash.

Make sure the driver is actually updating. I had a weird issue where Windows 10 actually reverted one of my drivers to an older bugged version and wouldn't let me reinstall the newer one until I did the old delete driver/uninstall device song and dance. It was a Microsoft driver no less.

Finally got my tablet updated. Most everything is good but there are a few times when the font appears slightly fuzzy, depending on the application.

I actually didn't mind 8.1 (only tried on this tablet) but this is better, for sure.

I'm running Kodi on my Surface 1 Pro running windows 10 just fine. What version are you running?

I can't believe Windows has finally implemented to multiple desktops - you could do that on linux at least a decade ago.

You mean virtual desktops. Windows has always done multiple desktops.

I'm running Kodi 15.0 “Isengard” and I left all my settings the same as when I was on Windows 7.

Yes for sure there is compression. I read somewhere that it is about 80% of source on High settings.

Whatever it's called, I mean when you can flip the desktop to get a new one. Beryl or whatever used to give you a 3d cube of 6 desktops. That was pimp as hell in like '06.

if you use the media creation tool, and install it on USB, can you do a fresh install of windows 10? or can you only do upgrade with it?

You can do a fresh install with it, but you'll either need a new Windows 10 license key, or you'll have to upgrade a windows 7 or 8 computer, activate it, then do a fresh install once the computer is registered with the activation servers.

What product key did you use?

I used the one that this one tool found for me. My computer came pre-installed with windows 8 so didn't ever see a key for it... so used this tool that detects it...keyfinder v2.0

You can't feed a freash Win 10 install a key from a previous version.
Doesn't work that way. Either a new Win 10 key, or do an upgrade, activate then a fresh install skipping the key, and it re-activates.
