^ ya I bought the Wolvhammer BOA from Bow last night. Neither bow or Calgary cycle had the wolfgar in stock. Double socked it this morning and was fine.

Also read that review abou the bread bag. Will definitely try it.

Wondering if any of u guys use tire liners for your studded tires? Both my schalbe $69 marathons are giving me flats with the studs punching through the inside. I only bought them at the start of last winter too.

I replaced my rear with the continental winter contact so non studded. But now I woke today with a flat front and upon inspection same thing. Studs pushing thru the inside so I’ll have to go to mec or bow today.

I've never had that issue, and have a few seasons on my marathons. Gorilla tape time?

It was 90% dry but the 10% Ice patches can get nasty. Shocked I didn’t bail this morning.

On a side Note I joined the bow cycle cycling club. Anybody else here a member? Looking fwd to a few group rides.

Keeping mine on for a bit. There are some huge icy sections on the pathways still, and a lot more melt to go. Wait til we've had a solid week of warmish weather....

Not until April or May when there's no more snow along areas I ride. Right now, the melting during the day and freezing over night leaves enough ice on the paths that you still need studded tires.

makes sense, yeah every morning when I'm going through 5-10 meter of ice my heart stops beating. I just pick the cleanest path and try to keep my direction as straight as possible.

will take off the studded tires mid-April to put the CX tires, then hopefully 700x28 by June.

Or wait til the first good rain. That tends to clean things up a lot on the pathways.

Or just buy another bike so you don't have to worry about changing tires all the time!

haha, yeah I could use my wifes jake but it doesn't have fenders and I still need to put the 2x10 tiagra parts in it.
I was using it in January so it the roads dries up more I might start using it again.

first flat for me this year. started riding the CX bike yesterday and 1km this morning the rear tire went flat.
forgot to load the pump in my bag so I turned around and drove in to work.

since I have to work on the tire, I might as well finally upgrade it to 2x10 from 3x9. will be also changing the brakes from mini-V and try cantilever out.
