Anytime beyond.ca has a charity boxing match, you're up big boy. Or is your back still injured? just smoke a bunch of weed first, that should help.

MFC is a team of snakes. Amazed it took this long for them to get shut down to be honest. They had a ton of pending lawsuits from suppliers too.

I've been to the Mazeppa plant, spent four weeks there 10 years ago. It was a nice(r) plant back then.

I believe they installed a cogen there a couple years ago wonder if that's also included in the auction.

Modern Motors is done... They've been around for ever, (1948 apparently) with mixed reviews.. I bought one thing from them in 1986 and never bothered going back.. 4wheel parts + the downturn + 4x4'ing becoming a threatened activity probably didn't help their fortunes, even with all the people living in condos putting 37's on their Wranglers to drive their kids to Montessori school.

Very knowledgeable guys, but REALLY expensive products. The few things I priced out were no where close to 4 wheel parts just down the road.

Sad to see Infusion Contemporary Cuisine in Bridlewood shut down. That was one of our spots.

That's too bad... wasn't anything that I craved, but much preferred going there for a dinner vs any suburban chain with people that refused to leave the suburbs for dinner

That's too bad. I tried to buy things from them to support local, but they were WAY more expensive than buying online, or even just out of a catalog somewhere. I mean, I will pay a premium to shop local, but when I can save $200 on a $1500 purchase, I am going to.

It's a niche joint and probably struggling for quite a while. And I was jonsing for matcha parfait and they don't even make that any more last time I was there.

You can't say you'll pay a premium to shop local and say you won't pay an extra 12 percent in the same sentence.

. The operating costs on that building at that location would need 6 Hoists busy to just pay the bills.

That's why I always thought it was a front or something. Too big, no work pouring out.

The owners of Cerezo are friends of mine, they sold the business at the end of January... They are going to Europe to expand their culinary horizons, and then will be opening a new venture when they come back. I sure miss his creativity as a chef though, I would just order "the special" and he always whipped up something carb free and good. Best decaff coffee in town too.
