Pretty excited for the next episode.

Your #1 hater
Oh, has it started already? I wanted to watch it. Sure there will be reruns through the week, or before the next episode at least.
Yeah I liked it. It'll be cool to see things turn to shit as it's happening instead of TWD when Rick wakes up and everything's already gone. Jesus, how long was he in that coma anyways? haha
I kept seeing Jack White whenever that druggie kid was on screen.
OMG...never heard of this. What channel and what time and when!?
I call bullshit on how slow the apocalypse is starting. I mean thousands of people die in the US every day, so the problem would be an epidemic on day 1, not the slow as shit version we saw yesterday.
Same channel and day/time as the TWD.Originally posted by shakalaka

But you're still gonna watch and complain the whole time right?Originally posted by Feruk

Liked this first episode more than some of the TWD episodes. Pretty stoked to watch it all start and the epidemic get worse.
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.

Well of course.Originally posted by D'z Nutz

I really enjoyed the pilot, I just hope they don't blow it by getting way too many characters with way too many story lines going. I gotta say that Frank Dillane actor who plays the main junkie kid Nick sure looks like a young Johnny Depp.
Not if everyone has not been infected yet, it's only a fact in TWD that everyone is already infected.Originally posted by Feruk

That kid is a good actor but when he put on the old man clothes he was a dead ringer for fear and loathing in las Vegas, add in the drug twitching and all I could of was Johnny depps character in it... But ya upcoming episodes look great!
It's confirmed near the end of the episode when Spoiler:Originally posted by bigboom

he shoots buddy in the stomach and then they come back to find a zombie
I thought it started a bit slow. I suppose they can build the story however they want knowing everyone's going to watch it.
I also read it's only 6 episodes. Is that true?
6 episodes, and then the mandatory AMC 4 month mid-season break. TWD will be on as soon as these episodes are done, so I suspect this will come back for TWD's break.Originally posted by gwill

Nice. According to Wikipedia it's 6 episodes of FTWD this year, then 15 in 2016.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

So 6 episodes of FTWD followed 8 episodes of TWD immediately after. With any luck, it just alternates between the two with little to no break until the spring/summer.
What Im hoping for this series is a more "realistic" look at what could happen in cities in this scenario, it's much more applicable to our lives in Calgary versus outlandish plot lines that the Walking Dead has been on....the wolves? come on....give us something more believable like paramedics showing up to a car crash off Deerfoot and having a victim come back to life and bite his throat....
Haha I guess if my name's gonna be glued to a thread... it could be worse.
It just occurred to me that one thing hasn't changed at all from TWD. It's always the black dude who dies first.
You know this exact scenario happened in the first episode right?Originally posted by Canucks3322

It couldn't happen, and it's NOT applicable. Not sure how the word "realistic" can even be used when discussing such a theme.
I liked it far better than all but the first season of twd. Acting is far better (especially the druggie), and I've always been one for pre-apocoyptic themes.
Still annoyed by the gaping holes. Why did the father not call the cops the moment he say a huge pool of blood? Why was the mother so quick to be unconcerned? "Stuff happens all the time". Really? So you don't even mention it to the cops?
New look, new feel, same obviously shitty writing.
