    Default Snoring: cures?

Wife accuses me of snoring. I have no proof but she insists its true.

Anyone tried the mouth guard thingies that are supposed to prevent snoring?

If so what type and how were results?

I use the breathe right strips. Works for me. Try those first.

They're sometimes called snore-guards and there are two kinds:

    1. The cheap $50-$100 store bought ones, which "may" help, but are definitely bulky and uncomfortable, and probably a waste of $50.
    2. Custom fit ones for you that run $100-$2500. Much more comfortable, often adjustable, and can actually work. Get these from your dentist, if they have sleep apnea training, or a sleep clinic after an assessment.

There is also a third kind. It's made of foam and actually fits into your wife's ears. This is the cheapest, most comfortable (for you) and works very well. They're called ear plugs.

Snoring is exacerbated by alcohol, obesity, and bad air flow in the nose.

If you've ever had your nose broken, it can contribute.

Consider seeing a Nose and Throat specialist.
