Yea, on our drive, it was FLYING around some of the cloverleafs flawlessly, but only if it was locked on to lane + steering prior to the start of the turn. If there was a lane change before hand, it wouldn't lock fast enough and wouldn't work.

Wonder if it had anything to do with lighting/reflections on the lane markers from the sun. The E63S was definitely confused more when the sun was in an unfavorable position. Tearin mentioned that the Tesla Autopilot wasn't as accurate at night either (we didn't include that in the review).

supe, 01RedDX and killramos, take your comments to the other thread please where we're discussing Tesla stock and Tesla as a company. This thread is for experiences with Tesla the car.

    Thanks.

On our drive, it took northbound Deerfoot to westbound Stoney without issue. My issue is that it took it too slow. It's like it took the exit recommended speed literally.

    Random question.

Did you black your car out? Tinted windows and rear lights ?

Not sure if you are talking to me but I have tinted windows but not blacked out lights.

My auto-pilot worked flawlessly at night when we drove home from Banff last weekend.

I'll have to try some cloverleafs again but I can definitely confirm Tearin's experience with the lane markers. When the car only picks up lane markers on one side it will hug that marker pretty tightly. Kind of annoying when I was driving on Sarcee yesterday. I ended up switching the the right lane where there were markers on both sides.

It use to be we complimented cars by calling them a drivers car, do we compliment these cars by calling them a riders car?

Great thread again from the owners on the forum. Checked out the Vancouver store a few weeks ago (yes the calgary is open now i know), the vehicle is definitely an interesting machinery. But given the price of a P90D with options, its pushing 200k otd. Do you guys feel that it's worth the premium to be one of the first? Given the performance/fit/finish of the P90D I personally feel that there are better conventional options out there.
