Im no expert but am not seeing any "steals" in those links. Prob too early in the month?

Also, most legitimate ballers dont suffer a whole lot as they have the brains to put aside money/hedge for the inevitable downturns - so the luxury market wouldn't be my first choice.

I might look at the used truck market instead. The 100,000$ invested, lifted, chipped, nut sack equipped, rolling coal, douche-trucks would be the first things to go as many owners seemed to be highly leveraged individuals (just my opinion).

Any private used car would be a steal for someone from the US right now. That 35K c63 becomes 26K in USD.

My personal deal was grabbing a 2005 TRD 6 Spd double cab Tacoma with only 129k km on it and a full service history with extras for $11500. I thought it was a fair price for the market.

I would agree for the most part but theres still a ton of wannabes who are maxed and getting desperate. The truck statement is bang on though

The truck market is also being effected more by the fleet dispositions, so it should be more depressed overall.

The trucks are all going down to the US, where the exchange rate is helping manufactures coping with the finance losses of people "dropping off the keys" back to the dealer and living with fucked up credit lol.

Is it just me or do Porsche coupe and convertibles practically not depreciate?

This was the only reasonable find for a Porsche.

I know my truck went to the states. Sold in 8 hours for list price
Had 4 buyers on it all from the US. Haven't seen too many smoking deals on cars, but damn I'm tempted to pick up some new toys. There's tons of quads and side x sides going for stupid low money right now.

Dirt Bikes haven't dropped a dime, seems like the supply of new bikes has dropped keeping the used prices high.

There would be some major deals to be had in the boat, camper, RV area. Even in good times it takes a while to move these toys (something I went through last summer), a recession means owners are well motivated. I've noticed prices are dropping on recreational properties in BC, which is the area I am interested in. Also debating the value of buying an Airstream trailer (as large as possible) and land. The catch is a wheeled anything is a depreciating asset.
