You probably would be better to post a FS ad.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Biggest thing is detailed descriptions (similar to Skyline_Addict quality) would serve you very well for a car like that. I know I definitely would be more interested if I know what I am getting myself into and what was done for maintenance for it while you owned it and what you know about it since owning it.
I actually have it on Kijiji with a very detailed ad. I haven’t bothered posting it here yet. Unfortunately it’s modified a fair amount which is making it a little harder to sell, combined with the absolute worst circumstances to sell right now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Posting here so I don’t have to break forum rules but:
It’s a great looking car, if it wasn’t modded so heavily I would consider it for my wife. She has always wanted a C5.

Ya, I was gonna say. Low mileage, looks to be in good shape. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Would be interested too if it was closer to stock.
Thanks for the feedback. I am in a position where I don’t have to sell thankfully so if I sit on it for another year and put minimal mileage it won’t be the end of the world I guess.
Are low-mid range car sales really a thing right now? I'm surprise people are still shopping given the uncertainty in everything right now, sure not everyone is impacted equally but I think everyone IS impacted this time around vs a recession where it's mainly the lower tier people impacted the most
I know in times of uncertainty, like in a recession, luxury car sales usually go up as a coping method to help but that's reserved for the rich

You can do a 0.5% lease with Subaru Ascent and BRZ up to 39 months. Has it been ever that cheap? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My comment isn't about finance/lease rates but more on the lines of most people will finance their vehicle, with lay offs, wage/salary roll backs, job uncertainty is it really feasible to be getting a new (or new to you) vehicle at the moment?
With a modelling of 800,000 infected, it seems such huge risk to be putting money into getting a new vehicle at the moment

The whole lifestyle of constantly leasing a new vehicle is extra risky in times of economic uncertainty. I know a family that was asking my advice about how to lower thier monthly vehicle expenses in January. They have been leasing so long they couldn't scrape together $5k for a beater. And now one of them has lost thier job. Hope they don't lose thier house over all this.

Might be a good deal, 27,000km is a lot though.. Figure if you offered $299 you could get Lamborghini to accept?

Damn... maybe I can pick up a Corvette soon, forget the Mustang...
If you're not going to daily drive it then you'd be doing yourself a big favour picking up that Vette over a Mustang. Only thing is you'd have to see if you can live without some of the technological features that newer cars have. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hmm. Reading stuff like this is frustrating. Without knowing specifics, one can only hope they get their act together so they don't put themselves in these predicaments again. The issue isn't the job loss, it stems way before that. Unfortunately sometimes the risk of losing their house or actually losing it is the only way they learn. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah, not able or willing to post a complete finance summary for them. But totally agree the issue isn't the job loss, it's the fact they were living way beyond thier means for years beforehand. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I get chirped pretty hard for all the trucks I've bought over the years. But I've never had a payment on any of them.

The base car isn’t worth much more than that, plus you should factor in a massive discount for being someone’s garage hack project and that sounds about right.
Wouldn’t touch it with a 50 foot pole.
