Step 4) Have friends throw pile into Uhaul while drinking beer
Step 5) Take it to the landfill yourself

Very pleb I know, but it will be the most frugal way. Got-Junk wanted over $1000 for my basement tear down removal, I did it for $200 (this was over a decade ago too). Don't forget with a bin rental, they'll also charge THEIR dump fees on top of the rental, which do not correlate with the actual landfill fees.

Even better is a dump trailer rental. Oh wait. Need a truck for that.

As most of you have noticed I'm not very active here anymore other than in the marketplace the odd time. Thanks for all the nice recommendations but I've finally managed to esacape and I'm moving on. I sold my company to somebody with the necessary drive and motivation and I'm working for said company part time while I finish up a course I'm taking online and getting going in that direction. Also sold both my trucks and have a more or less normal ride for the time being- until I start making the kind of money I was used to. In the meantime I've never been happier to get up and go to work for $25 an hour lol. Just enough to live and not dip into my savings too too much. Never thought I'd be able to handle that but, lots of personal growth, opening my mind, healing practices, and the gyms being closed was probably one of the best things that could ever happen for me. Not saying my attitude is great now but it's better.

The buy out was finalized this March but since last August I've been helping this company gain traction. The owner is a super nice guy who was in the same position I was- completely done and checked out after 15 years of doing what he was doing. I can guarantee they will be everything I was and then some if anyone on here needs junk removal services.

This is the way to go, find a private rental on kijiji and go to town. Maximum flexibility unless you have something ridiculously long, but I think up to 10' long can be sticking out the back as long as it is flagged. You can't have much stuff longer than the typical 12-14' dump trailer I'd assume though.

Keep in mind, cops are starting to setup secured load traps at the dumps lately for maximum revenue generation.
