It's one of the reasons I rarely go to the theatre anymore. A group of people at work were discussing that last week too. Always fucking ridiculously loud, no matter what the film is.

You know some exec was trying to figure out how to save falling sales from home theatre setups and decided "Hey, you know what they can't do at home? Crank the volume to 140db! Lets do that!"

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

The other people in my house have some sensory issues, so we all have decent earplugs for use in noisy environments. Can really save the day.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Same. I stopped going, and definitely partly because of this.

Funny discussion as I thought that about civil war that the volume was cranked. Just thought I'm getting old as fuck.

Haven't bothered seeing a move in theaters in years so I thought it was me... clearly not the case.

Fuck civil war. Waste of time.

This was par for the course in the USA years ago. I saw Gladiator in LA, I was deaf afterwards like I came out of a live concert.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
