Iron Man 1, Thor 1 & 3, Captain America 2 & 3 (and maybe 1), Avengers 1-4, and the Spider-Man movies... oh, and Guardians 1 & 2 (haven't seen 3 yet). Did I miss any (of the MUST watches)?

Avengers 2 is not a good movie. All hype.

Guardian and Spider-man trilogies are good.

But I would say the Spiderverse trilogy beat them all. Even if it's Sony's side of Marvel and animated.

Ironman 3 is watchable if you are a fan of Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)


Mixed in Deadpool as palate cleanser.


The rest of Marvel are meh.

Avengers 2 is not a good movie. All hype.

True. Its definitely the weakest of the 4. I put it on the list though because of several key events/details in that film that have an over-arching effect on the rest of the inter-connected films/plots going forward. (ie. creation of Vision, the impetus for the government measures against superheroes, etc.).

There's only 2 so far, and the 3rd is the second part of 2, which has been pushed back indefinitely.

I went down a deep Google rabbit hole about the delayed release and I'm worried the 3rd movie is going to struggle.

But on a bright note, 2 was fantastic and I was really into it until I realized it ends on a cliffhanger.

I'm sure it'll land sometime in 2025, they just need to find a right weekend since almost everything is delayed into 2025 due to strike.

I went down the rabbit hole because I forgot my friend had told me it's a 2-parter, so I was pissed to find out there wouldn't be a resolution any time soon.

While down that rabbit hole, I learned a couple things that led me to think it might not be good:

- Both movies were in production at the same time. That potentially means that the production will be in production for over 4 years by the time it releases.
- Typically, when you have simultaneous or back-to-back filmings of multi-part movies (Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions, MI: Dead Reckoning 1/2, Potter, Mockingjay, LOTR), they are typically 12 months apart.
- Part of the blame for the delay has been the strike. The strike happened mid-2023, 3 years into the production of third movie, and then recordings weren't able to "resume" until December of 2023. If they are still doing recordings 3.5 years later, they either had a ton of changes (which apparently the writers have been notorious for), the directors aren't happy with something, or the studio had a million notes (which they can also be notorious for).
- Also, the response to when it will be ready was "when it's ready", isn't a particularly good one, nor a reassuring one.

If I had to guess, my guess is they're aiming for a Christmas release.
