I want to get into Ted Lasso, but not enough to convince me to subscribe to another streaming service, even if there is a free trial

Finished "Presumed Innocent" on Apple TV+. Pretty good, kind of slow in parts, but an interesting twist at the end.
Wife and I both thought this was pretty good.

Watched both episodes of the penguin, I like it so far.

Been watching Miracle Workers with Steve Buscemi. It's fine, but not a must-see.

Rebel Ridge On Netflix. Felt some Jack Reacher vibes but diversified.

Also watched recently and agree. Liked it.
Also liked it. But I kind of wish there was an epilogue at the end to show what happened to the town/department after, but I suppose that was part of the point, to show that civil asset forfeiture is still a thing.

    Yes this.

Could not get over seeing Crockett in his role. Kept on waiting for In the Air tonight to come on.

I suppose you felt the same way watching Django?

Started watching "From". Not too bad so far.

Also started watching "Star Trek: Discovery" again from the beginning. First 2 seasons were pretty good. The third is where I think it starts to go off the rails.

Faceoff: inside the NHL on Amazon prime, 6 episodes about last season / playoffs.

    Pretty good watch.

Culinary Class Wars. They advertise it like Physical 100 meets Masterchef, and that's surprisingly accurate. I think we're 3 eps in and a pretty good show so far.

Just sat through Wild Robot. This is the worst movie I've seen in... decades?
What an insufferable heap of shit from start to finish. Just a relentless flow of sour shit. I hope you like contrived and completely fabricated emotional nonsense.
By the hallway point, I was convinced that this was what AI movies must be like. Then I found out it's apparently based on a series of books! Jesus Allah, those must be some shitty books!

This is rivaling Simon Birch and Cheaper By The Dozen 2 levels of fecal spray. When you've rounded out the day with your dogs at the car show, go see this with your dogs, enjoy it and then murder-suicide your entire family.

    Edit...
Holy fuck - I just read reviews and many people think this thing was excellent??¿!!?!¡?
It's the worst animation I've seen from a company with one-tenth the capability of DreamWorks. The stupid fox is a pile of shitty triangles and the green mossy shit he lays in looks like an error. I'm blown away that anyone would think this is tolerable.
I literally assume that if there was a Paw Patrol Movie, it would be better than this!
not the best robot cartoon but I enjoyed it, we took our daughter to watch it on Saturday and she got sad thinking that one day she would have to leave us.

my sister mentioned this to me, after I catch up with The Bear, I will check it out next.

Watched Deadpool & Wolverine last night, thought it was funny but story was very weak. Love the cameos though.

What not to Watch: Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power recent season until the 2nd to last Episode. Otherwise everything else was awful. Also the Final Season of the Grand Tour was terrible as well.

    What to Watch: The Penguin

    How is this Colin Farrell?

Life's too short to waste your time with that shit. Netflix (Canada) basically has all the classic (2004 and earlier) Star Trek series readily available. I'm currently doing a Voyager watch through (might as well be first time for me since I missed a bunch of it during the original broadcast).
