Distance from furnace to wall? Code?

I'm going to start to slowly develop my basement. I'm doing up blueprints and I'm trying to get proper measurements.

One thing I'm not sure about, is how far away from the bedroom wall(will be closet area) should the wall be minimum. 24" ? Any info would help.

had some plans drawn up in the fall. i dont have them handy but pretty sure it was 1 meter, so you are better off planning for 3 feet until someone gives you the official measurement.

When I rebuilt my basement, the regulation was 24" room in the front of the furnace, and 6" for sides (and rear I think) from the finished walls.

Also, remember, every door to the furnace room has to be 32" wide.
