I agree Jiffy at creekside is good.
How much do you pay for synthetic oil? Do you let them replace anything or just oil change?
“Straight roads are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers.”
Ford threw in free service to 100k so I just stick to the dealer. After it's done though it's always just been doing it myself. Went to a quicklube oil change place once and never again, if I need to pay someone to do it I'd rather just pay the extra money for the dealer to do it so at least if they screw something up they have more liability.
New car is 12k per service so like 2-3 times a year. An extra bit to go to the dealer isn't a big deal.
I've always been a bit paranoid about quick lube places, though as MR2-3SGTE said, it's hard to screw up an oil change, unless you really try, though I have read some horror stories.
I used to do my own on my Jeep and my Passat, but my CTS is just too low, and I'm not getting any younger.
Have been too busy during the week to even consider going to the dealership, so I went to Jiffy Creekside today, based on recommendations here.
No hard upsell like Mr. Lube, they did try to sell me a flush, but there was no "you need a new drain plug every oil change" B.S. The guy seemed to have a hard time getting my air filter out, showed it to me, and THEN discovered they don't stock it.
No biggie, I should be able to do that myself for at least a few more years...
Not cheap for a full synthetic oil change, but it's been a while since I've been to anything but the dealership, so it may be in line with the others. Totally forgot to ask for the Beyond discount. D'oh!
I go to Mobil 1 Lube Express in Midnapore. Best place I've been to and they carry everything including Royal Purple!

I know it's been said many times, but if I don't have time to do it myself then the Jiffy Lube Creekside is the best.

Well, now it's been said two more times.
You can say that again....Originally posted by Kloubek

Add me to the list, I usually take mine there as well. Always get the discount as well.Originally posted by Maximoose

Took my 4Runner to Jiffylube @ Creekside (didn't know it was a beyond thing), they did fine other than the skidplate was slightly loose so I had to tighten it up a few days later.
The VW will go to a dealer, cause lease.
The S2000 goes to Balance auto garage.
The mini gets done by me.
The bikes get done by me.

Anyone recently done their maintenance at a VW/Audi specialty shop that they can recommend?

Because of warranty I take mine to camclark Ford....
Pretty stupid though because they basically threatened me saying my warranty is void if a "certified ford tech" doesn't perform my oil change. Last time the tech didn't have a proper oil filter wrench and it took him an hour just to get the filter off :/
This is 100% false. No certification required to maintain warranty. Only require receipts to prove correct materials were used, and mileage recorded to prove proper schedule was followed. You can change the oil in your garage and have zero issues with warranty.Originally posted by Skidro

Also, most dealerships shorter the OCI as a way to rip off consumers. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owners manual, not whatever the service writer tells you, they are often quite different.
I have been going to Speedoptions for the past few years. Quick and friendly service
I called earlier..I think I spoke to you. Just curious what brands you offer for oil filters (fingers crossed it's not fram )Originally posted by topsecret
Good to hear, thanks for coming in!
