Default Where do you go for oil changes?

For those of you that don't do it yourself, where do you take your vehicle for oil changes?

I've been going to the ford dealership in crowfoot (ford f150), but its becoming quite the inconvenience to drop off and pick up the truck later in the day.

Looking for a more convenient option. Should I be skeptical of places like jiffy lube, minit lube, quick lane, etc?

I used to go to Mr. Lube when I lived in Calgary.

I make an appointment at the dealer and wait an hour or so for the oil change and they wash/vac the vehicle. While all that is going on I'm looking at cars or using the WIFI. I used to use the quick lube joints until they drained the oil and tossed the filter, only to learn they had no filter in stock... send Cha-chi on a filter run and two hours later I can leave.

If I did not have the time I would take any vehicle to the Shawnessy minute muffler. Jeff the owner runs a great shop.
Otherwise if warranty is a concern. The stealership.

I do them myself. Synthetic oil changes aren't cheap anywhere that I can find, but if someone does let me know.

On the BMW I have been going to Calgary Autoworks. For the truck, I'll go where is convenient at the time.

Oil changes are the most basic of the basic tasks. Kind of hard to mess up (unless they do it intentionally), so I would just take it wherever is convenient. Especially for a car like the F150 that doesn't require any special procedure

Creekside Jiffy Lube. I never thought I would recommend one but it's owned by an enthusiast and his guys do good work.

I've brought my wife's car and FIL's truck there without issues.

I take mine to the Hyundai Dealership and provide the synthetic oil.

$35 and they include the filter. It's a fair price considering I don't have to do the work and dispose of the materials afterwards.

I can normally roll in at 4pm after work and they'll do it on the spot.

Where abouts is the jiffy lube? I know I've seen a lube city (?) beside the tim hortons area, is this the same place?

Just moved to Kincora so this would be pretty convenient, good reviews too.

It's right behind the Shell on the North End. Beside Tim's actually... not sure if there's a lube city there at all; you're thinking T&T in Harvest?

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I already give beyond 10% off, which works out to be a better discount than that coupon! For anyone in another area of town that coupon is valid at any jiffy lube location across Canada!

I remembered reading that somewhere. When I asked last time the guys seemed to have no clue wtf I was talking about so I just paid full price. This was Sunday Sept 20

Been getting lazy the past couple years, I've been taking my vehicles to the boys at RCTS, very knowledgeable and will tell you if anything else is wrong with your vehicle and make recommendations.

Yeah not sure where I got lube city from lol
Ended up taking my truck in for an oil/filter change today, friendly and professional staff, got the 10% off as well. Much more convenient than taking the truck to ford and leaving it there for the day as well. Will definitely be returning!
