2015 Audi R8 V10 LM

Auto Obsessed preformed a new vehicle detail to this 2015 Audi R8 V10 LM, which happens to be one of only eight in Canada. Old Paint protection film was removed and the exterior underwent a full decontamination wash including iron and tar removal. The engine bay and exhaust tips were detailed. The paint was spot polished to remove scratches and swirl marks. Paint protection film was applied to the entire vehicle, Xpel ultimate was applied to the paintwork, and Xpel Stealth was applied to the dry carbon parts. The wheels were removed, decontaminated and coated with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. The Interior was detailed and leather was cleaned and conditioned with Swissvax. In addition, the floor mats were protected with Gtechniq I1. The exterior, including paint protection film was nano-coated using Gtechniq EXO v2.

PROCESS - We are washing the engine bay using soft brushes, mild cleaners, low water pressure, filtered rinse then blow drying with the Metro Master Blaster.

BEFORE - Pre wash inspection

PROCESS - Wheels being cleaned with Sonax full effect wheel cleaner. In this case since we’ve remove the wheels from the vehicle we can use Sonax full effect wheel cleaner. Otherwise for a wheel-on detail we would use the P21S gel wheel cleaner for any vehicle with carbon ceramic brakes.

Impressive, I can't seem to clean my interior windows correctly. Everything I've tried leaves a slight smoke film (non smoking car) after a week. Time to try some SONAX CLEAR GLASS?

You guys ought to mount a GoPro at the ten foot level and we can watch a complete cleaning process in a couple of minutes on FF.

And what is that protecting film your putting on there? is it like 3m?

+1 on what the film is. With the Xpel products, are these hydrophobic products?

If someone got a package such as this, what does it mean as far as cleanliness goes? Is it harder to get grime and dirt on the car meaning you'll have to wash it less?

I means it is harder for the dirt/grime and environmental contaminates to cling on to the surface.
