Isn't that stuff basically sold via Tupperware party method? If so it's not really advertising with no "sales rep" name on it, no?
Still, odd treat choice all the same. I'm sure some kids could be fooled and try to eat it.

well at least the person isn't a passion party consultant with poor judgement...
I'd forward the picture to scentsy ... That's flipping ridiculous.

So, how many of you came across advertising in your kids candy this morning? We didn't vet all the candy last night, just let the girls have stuff we did go through. This morning when we were going through it we found one of those Scentsy wax scented cinnamon things in it with the label, "Smell me, melt me, just don't eat me" on it.
I'm of the opinion that yes, if all goes according to process the advertising will end up in our hands as we will vet all the candy before the kids can tear into it.... but it seems that it's kindof a risky method of advertising. Relying on kids self control to not tear into the bag before they get home, or like ours, climb up onto the table and start in on the candy before we had a chance to clear it all.
We had a real estate agent put her card and an ad on the candy. And by candy I mean they were pumpkin seeds.

LOL.. that's what my wife said. She used to sell passion party stuff.. she's like, "So could I just hand out small dildos with instructions that they're not lollipops?"
To me its just really poor judgement to give out treat shaped treat smelling non-edibles to kids. This is an adult product - not a Halloween treat...
I'm pretty sure they also gave out a piece of candy, so it wasn't all bad. Plus maybe I'll get the kids to plant the seeds in the spring.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
I am guessing the kids who left that house looked exactly like your avatar, haha

Hey Codetrap, you know there has never been a single case of documented candy poisoning in Canada....Why do parents insist to check the candy?
well, first time for everything i suppose. From the Alberta Police Report FB page, posted about 3 hours ago, a documented case of pills in candy...Originally posted by SmAcKpOo

Pill located inside Halloween Candy FULL REPORT
Lloydminster, Alberta - On November 1, 2015, Lloydminster RCMP received two complaints of pills being located inside of children's candy bags. The first was a full blister pack filled with medication. The second was when a child bit into a snickers bar and found a round white pill inside the chocolate bar. The pill was stamped with APO. The child did not ingest the pill and gave it to her parents immediately. Upon a closer look it appeared as though the package had been opened and resealed. This candy bar was obtained in Lloydminster in the Lakeside area. The Lloydminster RCMP are urging parents to carefully look through their child's candy to ensure that wrappers are still sealed from the manufacture and that they have not been tampered with in any way. If you have located anything similar please contact the Lloydminster RCMP immediately and do not dispose of the candy or pills. RCMP are in possession of the pills and the investigation is on going.
