From what I understand, the movie is basically Warcraft 2. Which means I hope to see Medivh and/or Aegwynn at some point in the movie... there is SUCH an opportunity to set up a sequel there, as well as maybe introducing Thrall and/or Varian at some point as well.

I'm looking forwards to the trailer on Friday

Looking closer at the Stormwind Keep scene.... on the left, either The Order of Tirisfal/Mages of Dalaran or Kal'Dorei (Night Elves, at least the one on the very left side looks Elvish), and on the right, Quel'Dorei (High Elves).

Also, if you want to take a peek at the CGI model for Stormwind (developed by ILM, of all companies!), there is an moveable camera flyover on Youtube. The Cathedral of Light looks MASSIVE.... I wish this was the Stormwind model actually in game XD

I'd like to add that terrible live action Super Mario Bros and there's a dodgy Halo movie which came out earlier this year (straight to video hah).. video games to movies have a poor history

If you were a fan of the original Wing Commander PC games from the 90s, do yourself a favor and don't watch it.

Halo Forward unto Dawn wasn't that bad, i think it was what it was supposed to be.

They were setting a backstory for a character in Halo 4. Which is kind of how all of the Halo media has been. Including the recent fall of reach animated series. Nightfall was also entertaining enough.

Also it's not like anyone actually paid to watch it. Right? RIGHT?

I have hope, because Legendary has produced some great movies in the past, including some massive fanservice movies like Pacific Rim, Watchmen, The Dark Knight series. They also produced Inception, Man of Steel, 300, etc. They have a good track record for action movies, so I'm reservedly excited to see what the trailer shows. If the trailer looks reallllllly good, then I believe I may have to buy a ticket to the hype train :P

Looks okay. I don't have high hopes for this movie.

The human armor looks too cheesy with no wear & tear so they just look like a bunch of jokers wearing plastic.

I love that they're falling for the same trip that Episode 1-3 Star Wars had, and it's green screening the fuck out of everything.

The wolf's animation rivals in poorness with the twilight series.

They are in CGI forests and Mountain Passes - like for fuck sakes, these landscapes exist in the real world , why are they CGI'ing it?

Mixing this amount of computer animation and real lift actors pulls people out of immersion.

Also Vagabond, it wouldn't be the Night Elves, they haven't been discovered yet - assuming any fan service is actually being paid to this movie as far as lore accuracy goes.

I have very low expectations for this movie, which is a shame since it could have been good.

IMO, they should have just made it an animated flick
