I can't be bothered to explain to you the financial hit I took from that accident, not to mention the emotional toll it took on me and my family that will affect us for a very long time.

My $17,000 vehicle was replaced by a $6,700 cheque from Insurance after they took off the cost to recover and tow away my destroyed trailer. Yes I paid for that out of pocket. I spent $12,000 to get a used vehicle to replace that. Plus I lost two months of work which equaled around a $14,000 loss. I'm the only bread winner for my family. I lost many personal, irreplaceable family momentos from both hers and my deceased parents. Money wise, I was out of pocket around $30,000

I got less than $2,000 from a few friends and family off GFM, which I was extremely grateful for.

You know what I was more grateful for? The time that people spent to help find a wheel chair for my wife. For the meals that people brought over when we were both to sore to barely get out of bed. For the bottle of scotch and a visit from a fellow beyonder. For fishing gear dropped off anonymously at my door.
A free trailer huh? Go fuck yourself. And pray to God you never have to go through something as horrible as almost watching your loved ones burn up in front of your very eyes.
