Gorgeous. I’m jealous every time I see the new gen HD’s on the road.
That white logo is certainly interested haha

I dig it
So, I won't be driving the new 6.6L....owner asked if I wanted his 2016 Denali. Figured I'd take it. Really torn on the decision though. I don't love that its the diesel, but o well. Will talk him into doing the DEF delete and all will be well I suppose. Hopefully in a couple years, I can pick my next work truck and buy it out. He mentioned this as an option on the next one
You don’t love that it’s the diesel? And you aren’t paying the maintenance or repair bills?

I idle way too much for the DEF system, it smells, it's loud and not every fuel station has Diesel. Side question, can GMC of something else code in high idle? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I imagine the options for would be similar to the 2016 Denali to the 2020 SLE? No?
You should have way more optionality with a 2016 compared to the current models. The new architecture trucks are locked down tighter than a ducks asshole making tweaks all but impossible right now.
High idle should be a common mod for a 2016.

Depending on how the deal worked out and how long you keep the truck for you could be saving well over 10k if not double that over the span of a couple years. You wont be taking the initial hit of the new depreciation and we all know how well diesel hd trucks keep their value. My buddy has an 18 denali and the only real complaint is the 2tone brown interior

Print that off, take it to the dealer, point them to page 3. They'll probably try to argue with you that it can't be done because they've never heard of it before. Insist that they can do it.

If anyone is looking for a cheap tonneau cover, I picked up a budget tonneau cover off of Amazon.. i just wanted the box closed off so that people cannot see what is in there and not have to worry about stuff blowing out on the highway. it’s a Roll up leather tonneau cover and it was 240$.. the company that makes it is Tyger. It would be comparable to the tonnopro or truxedo which are 400-500$ range. I’m very impressed with it for the price.. it is for my 2016 Sierra 2500 with the 6’6” box. I used to have a undercover flex on my work truck and considering that the undercover was 1100$ And this is 240$, I think this is great value and similar security for any items in the box. Both covers are secured at the back with the tailgate closed. But if someone wants in your truck box, they will get in. This one sits above the box like any roll up cover and it does not blow around too much on the highway. Looks like they sell them for most trucks and they have a few different styles available. Lots of reviews on YouTube too.

Yeah cheap fabric tonneau covers are pretty good.

Speaking of tonneau covers. I have one of th GMC branded ones and I have ripped the little tassel things that release the clip holding it down at the back. Anyone have a fix for that? Haven't had time to really look, and it's been cold AF (for this time of year)
Buddy just got a new Denali 3500 and i gotta admit that interior is not leaps and bounds over my other buddies 18 denali, the brown interior color is not so bad as the 18 but its still brown lol

I did not know this. I have a Denali and the brown irritates me so much. I've been looking at the AT4's online and thinking of trading in. I guess I better go look at it in the showroom before I waste more time on this. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It’s nice, but inserts are definitely brown if that really bothers you.
And every AT4 gets that interior.
